New Fall Window Dressing & Fresh Wall Color

I really liked our fall window dressing that we've had since early September, but I was getting tired of looking at it for so long.
It was time for a new look.

And since I never tire of using ladders in room decor I decided to remove the one from over our mantel and use it here. I'm glad to have my blog to have pics to reflect back on and see  the many ways I've staged them. You can use my search bar to see them if you wish!

This time it's an herb drying/display rack and handy place to keep necessities for trimming and watering.

Rustic, chippy ladder love!

A keepsake magnet tugs at my heart.

The rusty, vintage scale stayed with a little change and hangs off to the right this time around.

I  changed the valances from the Battenburg ones and hung country, striped kitchen towels over the rod for more of a countrified look.

This is the new wall color. My honey and I painted it in 2 1/2 hours this weekend!

The old yellow paint was here when we moved in. I'm glad that we finally changed it!

It's much more subtle and photographs well.

I chose a color that co-ordinated with the color of the tile's grout.

This was a little project that I made last year.....you can find it here.

In a few more weeks this will be filled with Christmas decor....I'm dreaming up it's theme right now!

Hope you'll be watching for the new window-do.....I'm just not one that will make the changes until after Thanksgiving has passed!

 Love, Hugs and Kisses,
JP
and Gucci, too!

A New Fall Window Display

So, the outside is done and the living room is done...now, I can check this one off my to do list, too!
Our kitchen's bay window is all dressed for fall.

I'm always so hesitant to say goodbye to all of my seasonal displays...thank God that I have my blog's archives to look back on!

This vintage, double paned, chippy window has been waiting to make it's debut.

I'm so glad that I found the perfect spot to hang it.

The rusty, vintage scale got moved to the right and a new use, too.

My summer herbs have been replaced in my little, antique, wheel barrow with this new autumn look.

My precious, little mice always come out of storage to be a part of every fall's display. Such sweet, sentimental memories they always bring.....my "Pammy-loo-la" was one of my "bestest" friends!

In case you missed this...
 you can see it here!

Coming up....the next post to be crossed off my list!

 Love, Hugs and Kisses,
JP
and Gucci, too!

One Mega Apple & Black Chippy Wreath Centerpiece

At our local farm market last weekend I spied a display of these giant, green apples gourds and just had to have one!

Isn't it amazing?

I had a vision of it as a centerpiece for our kitchen table.

I kid you not, it's really, really, really big!

It makes such a great statement on top of my makeshift pedestal and centered in an old, black, chippy wreath.

Cream colored autumn mums, faux pumpkins, gourds and grapes fill the void between.

This is our, nice big, country kitchen.

There's even special accents on the chandy.

We're so grateful that we found this for rent last year!

I'll be sharing close-ups of our bay window with you next and then follow up with a recent Sunday dinner tablescape with lots of fall touches.

Til next time, I hope you're having fun with you own fall looks for the season.
I'll be working on sharing this...it's now here!
and this!
