A Fabulous Fall Tablescape with Fabulous Layered Linens

 Can we talk about "Fabulous?"

I had so much fun creating this beautiful tablescape. The amazing linens, in this tablescape, was all new to me and I'm, over the moon, ecstatic that Premier Table Linens has reached out to me to work with them promoting their line. Without a doubt, they carry the ultimate in quality and the most vast selection of table coverings and accessories on the market.

I, now, present to you a peek at my fabulous fall tablescape...tada!

 I, always, start out with piles of things that I think I might want to use and they're usually all plopped on a chair and on the table itself...it gets my creative juices flowing. 

 Not all of  my inspiring choices always get used!

They sent me a wonderful collection of things to choose from for creating a visual setting.

but, some things will just have to wait.

That off white runner, draped over the chair, is a definate choice to be featured next time!

Now, trust me when I say that a tablescape, like this, can take many hours of tweaking and finalizing as many of you already well know. 

Thankfully, my vision ended up even better than I'd planned!  

I chose to go with traditional fall colors because sometimes I need a full blown "color fix!" 

Look at this, gorgeous, orange, Havana tablecloth available in 26 colors.

Layering linens, placemats and dishes is one thing I love to do for really special occassions.

Garden herbs are a wonderful thing to have on hand for accenting a napkin or place setting.

Their, logo printed, jute burlap runner can add an additional attraction to your table from their Premier Burlap Boutique. Personalization is available with your phrase, monogram or design.

I'd love to have 2 runners, like this, on our round table to create a cross over pattern. Next time, my wish has already been granted....it's in the mail!

Oh, and then there are these curtains!!!

 Can I say,  "FABULOUS FAUX BURLAP?"

Yes, absofigginlutely!!! 

Scratchy burlap they are not....soft and heavy and gorgeous, they are, all while giving a really appealing farmhouse look.

I'm back and I brought back fall on our mantel in living color!

I had a really relaxing summer and enjoyed my visits from my girls and grands from home. I hope that you had a wonderful summer, too, and are enjoying some beautiful fall weather.

This is the first post that I've done, since spring, with my announcement that I would no longer be posting on a regular basis. 

As with any business you need to invest financially and have some assistance to get all of the many tasks involved done.  It was just all too demanding and life and friends were passing me by without any financial gain.

So, here I am back to share my fall decorating fun in our living room.

I've enjoyed the, white pumpkin themed, seasonal decorating from the past, but the truth is...
 I really do love color!

I gave you a tease on my facebook page with this fun black and white sketch.

 Now, center stage, is my inspiration for getting back to decorating with living color. It's my vintage Gillies coffee tin.

I knew that something "fallish" would be perfect inside of it for display....
who   ahemm..."HOO" knew that it would end up being this little, cute, owl!

I loved the rag strip swag that was here all spring and summer...that post is here

 I loved that look so much so that I just had to make a new one!

A few leaves got painted white and float on each screen.

Pomegranates and cinnamon sticks simply hot glued to a braided jute swag were just enough to fit the look.





Next, a "slight tweak" that separated the trio of screens made it look even better to me.

I can always count on an old ragged book to add some height to a vignette.

More pomegranates are arranged here and there.

A few grapevine napkin rings, some leaves, an acorn and a single cinnamon stick made a fun accent for the brass candle sticks.

I swapped places with our ladder from the corner of the room and put the chair in it's place.

It's a fresh look for us to look at everyday.


Another owl hangs off the ladder on a branch with a pop of green ribbon to spruce it up a bit.

More books hang over a rung.

I kept the vintage suitcase in the place it's been since spring....it just made another perfect base for the demijohn arrangement that sits on top.

The vintage, splint, gathering basket adds the perfect balance of brown tones to the opposite side of the hearth.

Here it all is, romantically lit, a bit prior to dusk.

 Here it is looking pretty at sunset.
