I've been teasing you with, a few, holiday projects that I've done for our mantel and living room, so, now I'm back to share it all with you....this is what I came up with for our new home this year!
My winter, window creation hangs above the mantel with ice and snow and a candlelit glow.
A cluster of red berries in an evergreen swag lays across the top of the window frame.
Snowflakes and icicles with faux painted and glittered snow accent the window's glass...with matching wooden letters that title the window...
Let it Snow!
Let it Snow!
Let it Snow!
I got some pretty good night shots thanks to the tips that I found over @
adelightsomelife
with pics of her beautiful tree!
Can you see where I write and edit my pics by day and by night?
A string of old, wooden cranberries swag across the fireplace with three, burlap bows.
and even this one, too!
I shared our mantel clock re-do here.
and our sock snowmen, too!
The little sled got freshened up this year and leans against the fireplace.
A pair of topsy turvey trees, one in an old gathering basket
and the other in an old, red, milk painted, water bucket flank each side.
Silver, white and gold were my simple color choices for the tree this year....
with a few leopard ornaments and snowballs tucked in here and there.
It's quite a change from our traditional, bright color theme from many years of our past.
A few packages, in silver and gold, lie beneath the tree. A skirt of burlap and fluffy, sherpa match the pillows on our couches.
Here's the day lit side of our comfy room with our cozy sherpa pillows and our ladder filled with memories of Christmas's gone by.
I will share more of our ladders, soon!
The window dressings and ceiling fan are just a part of our little, rental house...oh, how I long to hang a beautiful chandelier in here!!!
This is my shabby, old washstand that I love so-o-o much, with some shabby old accents and a Christmastime touch.
This is where we watch t.v.
Whew...that's all for this post, I'll be back to share more, soon.

How lovely your living room is. I especially love your old window and ladder. I am partial to those. Seems like you are all ready for Christmas.
Have a wonderful week,

Such a cozy room, Janet! That would probably be my spot to hang out in with my laptop. : ) Love all the windows you have in this room, too. I'll bet you get some nice natural light during the day.
Great job on your mantle, love that window. It's all so warm and cozy.
