I've seen several versions of egg carton baskets over the past few years and I finally got to make my own.
White had to their color since that's the tablescape theme that I'm going with this year.
I filled them with shredded, white paper and chocolate, foil eggs.

I painted the grey cartons in white craft paint and added gold wire handles, ribbon and these little flowers that I had in my stash. They're a little bit shabby and a little bit chic!
I used little alphabet stamps to make initial flags to identify each place setting.
