Ladder Tweaking on Mom's Birthday

Today is my mother's 13th birthday in heaven. Oh, how, I wish we could turn back time!
Yesterday, I took her picture out of the spare room to post it on facebook in honor of her.
Seeing her beautiful face, just sitting on the table, I felt the need to honor her a little bit more and keep her out, in full view, in our living room.

I found the perfect spot!

She's taking center stage above our mantel.

I will be reminiscing, many loving memories, as she looks down upon me from her rustic perch and wishing that she could wrap her arms around me one more time!!!

Happy 93rd Birthday, Mom!

Love, Hugs and Kisses,

JP
and Gucci, too!

Oh I love what you did with your mother's picture! My mother went to live with Jesus last August and I too, have a beautiful picture of her of when she was young. You have given me some inspiration as to how I can display it. Thank you.

Oh how sweet. Don't you love how they looked so pretty- always posed so nicely and beautiful hairdos. My mom is 91 almost 92 so I relate.

I am really, really touched to see the love and glory you continue to bestow upon your Mother even 13 years later. I guess those of us who truly, truly love our parents never really see them as "gone." It's such a comfort to be able to still honor them as if they were still living amongst us here on earth. You did your Mom proud.

I want to thank you for stopping by my blog a couple of days ago to see the post I did re: my Mom's birthday luncheon. I'm grateful to still have her, particularly since we lost Daddy just last June. I'm putting in as much honor and love as I can while she's still with us!!!!!!!!! I know that, like you, I will miss her like crazy should she precede me.

Have a beautiful week.
