Neutrals and Cranberry Fill the Mantel and the Tree & Season's Greetings

Sending Christmas and Holiday wishes to you all and hoping that the New Year of 2018 will bring you all the best!

Neutrals and Cranberry fill the mantel and tree this year....

with polar bears and a little straw penguin on a vintage painted pantry box.

Festive glitter makes this version really shine!

Trees in brass and topsy evergreens flank each side of the mantel.....

with deep burgundy mums and ornaments scattered in-betweeen.

I stenciled our intials in gold on the white pom pom stockings, just so Santa will know whos is whos!

Cardinals perch on each for that needed touch of red.

A tobacco basket fills the wall above.....

with a snowman painted, teardrop crystal, dangling from a simple wreath of berries.

Glass paint is a more permanent medium to use when painting on glass. I just used basic acrylic so I can wash it off and use it plain or perhaps paint something different on it.

A vintage child's suitcase holds a handcrafted basket filled with painted pinecones and acorns.

A little change was made in our bay window decor and this chubby cardinal found a new place to perch!

More of the same fill a gathering basket made by the same crafter.

I had the urge to have a tiny tree this year, mostly because I wanted to display it inside this Serena and Lily grass basket.

Golden glitter acorns, tiny white snowballs with garlands of bells, pearls and cranberries are simple hangings on the tree...
with a rope nest filled with book page curls and snow white pearls just waiting for a little bird.

and then....miracles do happen!

A small white sled on the coffee table as a festive display.

It all looks so pretty with the twinkling lights at night.....

and just a beautiful by day.

One last look through the mirror at the tree... a festive mirrored reflection always makes me swoon!

In case you missed these recent posts...this Christmas dinner for 15 is here

and the wheelbarrow in our bay window post is here.
 and until next time

Love, Hugs and Kisses,

and Gucci, too!

Wow! How does it get even better every year!??!!! How is that possible <3!??! Love the little tree .. the basket is a perfect fit and it is dressed beautifully! The crystal snowman is just one of my favorite details that you added! The trees are so whimsical on the mantle perfectly paired with the polar bears... Wish I could take it all in, in person! Merry Christmas
